![]() a folder named SavedVariables, this contains global addon save data, stuff that isn't character-specific, although many addons with "profiles" use global data so that you can copy profiles between characters.or the account name if the WoW account was created before the integration. Naowh tweeted that he would love to try and build his own UI addon with just what he likes from Elv and cutting out all the extra 'bloat'. A lot of high end raiders have been test running non-Elv UIs the past week or so, due to performance issues/low fps. the folder Account, which contains subfolders for each WoW license that you logged in on, WOW1, WOW2 etc. ElvUI will be pushing an update to performance profiling next week.the file Config.wtf, which contains the global settings of the System menu (in the login screen or ingame) Graphics, Sound etc.You might also want to backup the WTF folder in general (easier than saving multiple individual files) However, if you're unsure, copy the previous ElvUI folder elsewhere before applying the new version. I'm not familiar with ElvUI, never used it, but as far as I know, it's merely a suite of addons.Īddons don't keep their settings in the Addons folder, instead they're in subfolders* of the WTF folder (in the base WoW install folder) so deleting/overwriting the addon folder should not affect the settings.
